Every year, over half of the Canadian population receives treatment in emergency departments. With this in mind, the mission of the Emergency Medicine division at McMaster University is to promote innovation, leadership and excellence in the provision of emergency care.
The Department has recently signed the next phase of the Alternate Funding Plan which allows us to have a stable funding platform for the next three years.
